Hello! My name is Kami Florea and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My husband, Dale and I live in Stapleton and have two children. Keali who is going to be a sixth grader and Kempten, who will be a second grader this year. I was born and raised in the Stapleton area and when I went to college I knew I always wanted to come back to the Sandhills. I went to college at Colby Community College for two years where I played softball for the Lady Trojans. Then I transferred to Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwill, OK, where I received my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Health, Physical Education, Recreation. While attending OPSU, I was involved with the softball team, cross-country team, and intramural sports. I have taught in area schools as a substitute teacher, teacher, and para educator before I became a full time teacher and coach at McPherson County Schools in 2012. My family and I stay very busy year round doing many different activities. Dale drives a truck for FedEx Freight and when he has time likes to golf or go check on the cows. Keali is active in volleyball, basketball, softball, 4-H, and tormenting her brother. Kempten loves to golf, wrestle, and play super heroes and cowboys. He also likes to get even with his sister! In December, we will be welcoming a new addition to our family. Everyone is excited for our new addition. If you would ever like to visit with me feel free to email me at kflorea@mcstryon.org or give me a call! I look forward in getting to know you!
